I went over to my friend's house (who I had an argument with, a friendship break) and apologized. We instantly reconnected (she is not one to hold grudges in real life either.) But after we did as I was going to get my bag with my belt in it (a belt I had left somewhere in real life) a scary looking homeless man was around and tried to steal the bag and belt. Eventually he took the end of the belt the pretty part. I was still able to use the belt but now it was not so nice. (In real life I am hesitant to apologize to this friend because I fear she will be overwhelming as she always is and the reason I stopped being her friend.)
Based on the details you have provided, this dream may suggest that you desire to reconcile with your friend and put an end to the dispute that has caused you both to drift apart. The act of apologizing represents your willingness to make amends and rebuild the relationship. The scary-looking homeless man in the dream may symbolize your fear of the unknown, potentially representing the fear of your friend's reaction to your apology. The fact that the man takes the pretty part of the belt could be a representation of your fear that something beautiful or positive could be taken away from you, implying that you may be hesitant to take a risk and reconcile with your friend. Overall, this dream may be encouraging you to face your fears and make an effort to reconnect with your friend.
